The Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) helps entrepreneurs start, grow, and thrive. Our team of advisers meets with start-ups and business owners from 7 counties at no charge to provide resources and help with business plan, financing, marketing and what you need to take the next step.

About

The Indiana SBDC creates a positive and measurable impact on the formation, growth, and sustainability of Indiana’s small businesses by providing entrepreneurs expert guidance and a comprehensive network of resources. We work with start-up entrepreneurs and small businesses on business plan, financial projections, market research, finding financing, marketing planning and other needs. All business counseling services are available at no charge.

Our team of professional business advisers has varied industry, business, and functional experience and expertise. Our state office equips us with online business plan software, templates, tools, subscription market research data bases and other resources to respond to business owner needs. We host workshops and events on topics of interest to business owners both virtually and in-person.

The NW ISBDC provides services in the 7 counties of NW Indiana. We are funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Indiana, and Purdue Northwest hosts our federal grant.

We also provide specialty services such as strategic planning facilitation, exporting assistance and business valuations.
