During an upcoming Breakfast-and-Learn event hosted by NWIIWA, three special agents from the IRS will be discussing topics about fraud in a special presentation titled “Don’t Take the Bait.” Their guidance will contain vital information for businesses and individuals about keeping financial futures protected.

Five key takeaways that will be discussed during the presentation include:

·    Overview of the top five types of fraud alerts. Know what to look for.

·    Identity theft and how to monitor your accounts.

·    How to prevent fraud and/or identity theft.

·    What do you do if you experience fraud and/or identity theft (For example: Filing police report, contact credit bureaus, etc.)

·    Available resources where businesses and individuals can find more information.
