Purdue MEP’s: How to Take Advantage of Free ISO 50001 Technical Assistance

January 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CST

Are you interested in getting free ISO 50001 Technical Assistance?

Purdue MEP and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory are hosting a webinar to share how you can get technical assistance at no cost to implement the ISO 50001 – Energy Management System (EnMS) standard.

ISO 50001 is the leading international framework for the structured practice of managing energy based on a rigorous continual improvement-based approach. Analysis shows that organizations using ISO 50001 can achieve over a 3% energy performance improvement year-on-year – helping to reduce an organization’s carbon footprint as well as providing significant cost savings.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s 50001 Ready program helps facilities establish ISO 50001-based energy management systems through its large suite of free online resources as well as no-cost training and technical assistance offerings. In addition, the Department of Energy provides 50001 Ready recognition to sites that self-attest to having “completed” all of the 50001 Ready program.

Join us to learn how you can get free assistance to implement ISO 50001 in your facility!

Intended audience: Facilities and organizations looking to build a culture of structured energy improvement that leads to deeper and sustained savings.

Workshop length: 1 hour
