About

IronWorkz is a nonprofit business incubator created to bring the city of Gary together and provide resources that generate equity throughout the community by focusing on entrepreneurial development/mindset, financial literacy, professional speaking, and so much more. The name was inspired by Gary being known for the local Steel Mills, where many families migrated from the South to create a better life for their families. IronWorkz is to be a place for the community and bridge the gap on equity issues while embodying what it means to be a Gary resident. IronWorkz will provide tools to help the community create and innovate and become the best versions of themselves.
