The Business Academy @IUN (at Indiana University Northwest) Equips Entrepreneurs with Competence and Confidence while Creating a Community of Encouragement and Elevation. What does that mean? We focus on two important aspects of business ownership. First, we provide information, education, and resources that help entrepreneurs and business owners be knowledgeable, informed, and confident when making business decisions. Second, we do this by welcoming you into a community where you are encouraged, supported, and lifted up. While we have the expertise of Indiana University behind us, our focus is on harnessing the entrepreneurial energy within Northwest Indiana. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in our community, as well as a spirit of support. We see people helping each other, learning from each other, and cheering others on their journey. That\\’s what the Business Academy @IUN is all about. Resources provided through the Business Academy @IUN include free monthly speakers, informative videos streaming on our YouTube channel, and professional development programs offered through the Center for Professional Development. Individuals can also obtain one-on-one consulting at our monthly Small Business Clinic or by appointment. Business consulting is also provided at no cost through several undergraduate courses through which students help entrepreneurs and small business owners on specific projects.
