Owning and operating a business isn’t easy,but it doesn’t have to be hard.  It requires good concepts and common sense planning.  This is where the HDC’s Business Builders program can help.  Through a combination of education, counseling, and access to low-interest financing, Business Builders is ready to assist entrepreneurs in learning skills that are necessary to create and strengthen successful business ventures.

The Business Builders Revolving Loan Fund is a crucial part of the Business Builders program.  Hammond-based entrepreneurs can apply for loans that will enable their current business to expand.  Our loan review committee examines the merits of each application.  The program offers one year line of credit or 5 year fixed term loans at low interest rates.  Maximum loan amount is $35,000.
