The Northwest Indiana Forum is the regional voice for the business community and a significant catalyst for initiatives that promote economic development and create and retain quality jobs while protecting the environment. Our region encompasses Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski and Starke Counties. We represent over 130 business investors including ArcelorMittal, BP, Task Force Tips and Urschel Laboratories.
Our recently released economic development plan, Ignite the Region: Northwest Indiana’s Strategy for Economic Transformation, provides a new framework for building economic growth and prosperity in the region. Entrepreneurship and Innovation is one of the 5 pillars of that plan making it a critical component to growing our regional economy.
