Patent Center and Patent Public Search tools and SOaR Overview

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced its new Stakeholder Offerings and Resources (SOaR) Program as part of the USPTO’s modernization efforts. The SOaR program replaces the virtual instructor-led training (vILT) program by expanding its publicly-offered virtual trainings to professional, non-professional, and pro se applicants.
This initial training event on Patent Center and Patent Public Search tools will be held on September 15, 2022 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. ET. Experts will teach the participants:
How to use the tools to file an application
Managing patent documents on-line
Additionally, this training provides an overview of the new program, followed by a Q&A. SOaR trainings offer:
Interactive virtual courses
In-depth topic discussions
Legal and CLE trainings
Expanded trainings for non-professional (pro se) applicants
SOaR trainings event are always free to the public.
